JHipster is an application generator that creates a Spring Boot backend with an Angular (or React) frontend. Over the years, the project has grown to include an ability to generate a microservices architecture (based on the Netflix stack and Spring Cloud), deploy to most major cloud providers, and include mobile support for Ionic and React Native.
In short, it's become more of a development platform, and you might notice this has become the tagline on the project's homepage.
If you have a large development team and you're considering microservices, you should definitely check out JHipster! Recently, I teamed up with Michael Hoffman to talk about microservices, Spring Boot, and JHipster. This is a 2 hour and 17 minute "Play by Play" where Michael and I chat with the camera while doing demos. I really like how it came out and hope you do too!
Get hip with JHipster, "Play by Play: Developing Microservices and Mobile Apps with JHipster" is now live!
In other JHipster-related news:

You're in luck! My good friend @briandemers and I wrote a complete guide to using JUnit, WireMock, Jest, Protractor, and Travis CI. We're call it the Hitchhiker's Guide and it's almost 42 pages! https://t.co/fgzUIrR34n pic.twitter.com/6CzANSAkU7
